10/5/2018 0 Comments ACL TripThe family was planning on going to Austin city limits (ACL) music festival. But Dietrich had a play rehearsals, Jack and Erin had funeral. So me and my sister Simcha booked it to Austin, and then sold there tickets for $150 a pice and then headed in to catch the concerts and came back for the next two days in-between exploring more of austin (we had three day passes) and then we booked it home the last night so simcha could see dad (homesick) and sleep in her own bed. Of course we hit a few (4) new coffee shops while in town (houndstooth is awesome!!) Highlights were seeing the breeders do pixies covers. And phenix close out there tour, while having the most engaged, & largest audience out of anyone. & all the fun of immersing yourself in unbelievably large masses of people! Oh and we got to do a killer workout via onnit gym! That was a lot of fun, although simcha wanted to kill the world given how intense it was. and it was my 19th birthday :p

10/17/2017 0 Comments bulletproof conf. | first solo tripFriend @franciekooke recommended I volunteer at the bulletproof conference as she did so I bought spirit tickets t for $80 roundtrip and volunteered. I like that the volunteering idea to increase the probability I would click with the individuals I rub shoulders with, in addition to free admission. There was an afterparty I was invited to with 30 people or so serving bulletproof food and wine at this little venue, I got to talk to some really cool people! Dave Asprey being one of them, I did not expect I was going to be able to have a 30min conversation with him :) overall it was a lot of fun, learned some skills, and got to meet a lot of very cool people!
