104.1 KRBE asked me to be the official photographer for Hot Chelle Rae when they came to "Studio 104" the idea was to show people what it looks like behind the scene and all that the band dose on their short time at the radio station.
it was fun following Hot Chelle Rae around at KRBE, and it was deffenatly busy. from the time they showed up we went strait to the studio and they set up and did a sound check, they covered a Johny Cash song. then they went down the hall and did liners in one of the sound booths (liners are when they record "hello we are Hot Chelle Rae and you are listing to 104 KRBE) then i had 3 minutes to take my photo of them on the couch. I'm glad i did all of my lighting tests before they got there so i knew exactly what i wanted and how to set them, so i did not wast there time. then they preformed a few songs for their fans, and was interviewed by Roula, afterwords everyone got photos taken with the band. then they packed up and headed to their show at House of Blues with the Script. i do not think most people know how hard musicians work, following them for even a short time is hard enough.
yes, they did buy a fish before they showed up at the studio. they did not have a name for him when they arrived, but i believe he now goes by Provo now.
